I was brought to your site through email sent to our group for paranormal investigations of the Mansion. I love your website & history of this home and grounds. I will be in the area this Sunday the 19th and would be very interested in taking a mansion tour.

Thank you for such a wonderful informative site. I am the 6th GGrand niece of John Galbraith. His sister Rebecca married Lt. William Stewart and another sister Eleanor married Benjamin Gass, who was the grandmother of Sgt. Patrick Gass of the Corps of Discovery. His brother Andrew, reportedly owned a mill north of John's property. Many of the Galbraiths are buried at the Derry Presbyterian Church Cemetery. I am curious as to why this Galbraith property became a sheriff's sale.

I am an amateur, published photographer. I like to combine my interests in photography, history, culture and tourism. I like to take photos of places I visit and then post them on Flickr (a photo sharing website) and then post a link to the photos on various tourism centered Facebook pages to help increase awareness of and visitors to such sites.
I do not like to use flash. I do use a tripod.
What is your photography policy for inside the Haldeman Mansion? May I use a tripod?
Below, please find a link to my Flickr page to see my work.

I just found this wonderful website. I believe my 4th Great-grandfather is Christian Halterman (1745-1803) died in Shenandoah, Virginia. I would like to learn more about this family. Thanks, Debbie

Great learning about a part of local history. I've learned that my great grandmother's maiden name was Haldeman. He name was Margaret Haldeman who married William Moore of Hbg, PA. I am the Founder and Lead Investigator of the Middletown Area Paranormal Society (M.A.P.S.). My team and I are very interested in scheduling an investigation at the mansion this Spring, especially now that I have family connected to it. Thanks much for the work you are doing.

I am a descendant of this fine gentleman and I ran across this website quite by accident. I live in Texas, but would love to volunteer my time to help restore this wonderful establishment in anyway. Thank you on behalf of the Haldeman family for keeping Dr Haldeman's memory alive.

Hello! I've visited the mansion several times in the past few years. It's fascinating, and I wish I could win the lottery so I could donate a few thousand dollars to its restoration. Hoping to get out there again this spring and summer. Love your Christmas market there also. Best of luck to you all!

Great to see you have this web site up and running. Hopefully my membership is approved soon. It is a great thing for our family to see our heritage preserved this way. Anyway I can help, I certainly will.
